In 1994 after my military service in French Guyana Amazon rainforest; I went to Brazil and took a bus from the coast to the far wild west region of the Pantanal – Mato Grosso state, a 3.162 km travel.
I wanted to become a naturalist guide and went directly to a bush lodge with good references that I have found in a guide book to ask for work and there so I ended up living on location for 6 years. After that i worked as a freelance guide in different regions of the Pantanal.
